Welcome from Mr. Ramirez
My name is Jonathan Ramirez. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where my parents are missionaries. In 1995, I moved to Illinois to go to school at Lincoln Christian University. I graduated in 2003 with 3 degrees from LCU and one degree in Teaching Middle Level Math from Illinois State University.
I taught for one year at El Paso, IL while my wife finished her degree in Art Education. I then taught for 7 years at Edison Middle School and 3 years at Jefferson Middle School, both in Champaign, IL. During that time I attained my Masters of Education from the University of Illinois and I became Nationally Board Certified in teaching Middle Level Mathematics. In 2014 my family and I moved to Mahomet and I began teaching at the Jr. High.
My wife and I have a son and daughter that go to school in Mahomet and are greatly enjoying living in and being a part of the community. I look forward to many more years.
